Multimedia Skills—Preparing Pages

 

Modify your pages to incorporate ideas for savvy web page design.

 

Make sure that you show your code examples are shown the same way in each of the pages in the class. For example, use all capitals for the tags or turn them a different color.

 

Modify your page describing your elements to a web page that includes:

 

• A common navigation link that allows viewers to go to the following pages: ASIJ, Middle School, Multimedia, and a link to the home page for the tag reference. The navigation bars and the links must be the same for the entire class.
• Author information—Use your first name and identify the class,
• An E-mail link (use mmedia@asij.ac.jp)
• A “last updated” date (use a FrontPage WebBot)

 

When saving your file,

• Use only lower case letters
• Use underscores instead of spaces in the file name (e.g., "my_file", not "My File"),
• Make your file names consistent with the other file names.

 

You will need to discuss the layout with the rest of the class.  Final assessment will be based on meeting the above criteria and on uniformity of all the pages.
