Evaluation of a student-developed web site is based on how well the web meets requirements in each of the areas in the Web Site Standards. These areas are:

  • Technical
  • Graphics
  • Navigation
  • Appearance
  • Writing Mechanics
  • Intellectual Property
  • Organization and Content

The web is scored on scale of 1 to 4 for each:

  • 4: All requirements met.
  • 3: Most requirements met and errors and deviations are minor.
  • 2: Some requirements met or there are several obvious errors.
  • 1: Few requirements are met or failed to address essential elements of the assignment.
  • 0: No attempt.

Each web may then receive a total of 28 points.
