Every student is required to check out the digital camera for a few days and take several pictures that have enough artistic merit for them to end up on the Middle School home page. The purpose of the photos is to help document events and happenings in the Middle School and also show that this is a real school made up of students who do what students do--work, have fun, study, laugh, play.

  • Photograph all community meetings. The student with the camera is responsible for taking photos of all gatherings and events. If there is a community meeting, there will be pictures!
  • Take photographs of other things that make this a school, whether it's work, study, or play.
  • Talk with your teachers and see if you can take pictures in the classroom of an activity or other interesting happenings.
  • Compose your shot. Watch out for busy backgrounds and other problems.

You are responsible for the camera. It's an expensive piece of equipment so treat it accordingly. Either have it with you or locked up at all times.
