Before you can build good webs, you have to see some examples of good or bad design. First, go to the web design link on the left and read the criteria for the web design. Visit the sites linked. Then, go to the following sites and write a short evaluation of each using the criteria that you found on the web design site. Tell what the sites get right and where they fall down. (You only need to look at a couple of pages of each site.) Put your evaluation in http://itinstruction.net/multimedia/f01/website, and name it with your_initials_web_eval.htm, e.g., df_web_eval.htm
