Your task is to create a one page "picture" of your digital buddy so that your California buddies will have a chance to know him or her. What do you have to have? What kind of things are interesting?

Have to have:
  • First name
  • Previous School(s)
  • Favorite "something"
  • Picture or Icon
  • Standard English sentence structure and grammar. Deviations must follow a uniform convention.
Nice to have:
  • Grade Level
  • Hobbies
  • Favorite Sites
  • Other interests

What you can't put in:

  • Address or living location.
  • Anything that might indicate a time and place the student will be off campus.
  • Phone number, email, AIM, IM, or any other contact information.
  • Language that might be considered offensive.
  • Non-standard writing and abbreviations. Believe it or not, there are standard ways to write a persons speech pattern.

Where will you create it? You will work on it your own folder at http://itinstruction.net/multimedia/f01/bios. Note that this area is password protected so you will need to use your own username and password to get into it.
