Cascading Style Sheet Assignment

Your task is to learn the fundamentals of cascading style sheets by creating several style sheets and applying them. At the end, you will be able to explain what a style sheet is and you should have a basic style sheet that looks pleasing to you. Use Internet Explorer to see all of the styles you apply as Netscape Navigator 4.x is not fully compliant.

1. Create a test page. This page should have headings, normal text, tables, lists, indented text, hyperlinks and more. Study the underlying HTML code.

2. Use the resources listed in the CSS Resource Page to study style sheets. In particular, the guide from W3Schools.com will be most useful.
