You've spent the last few class periods examining imaging issues by looking into several sites. Your task is to create a series of questions you will answer to show your knowledge. Your quiz should have at least six questions and your web site for the quiz, which is accessible only from TRC-1, is here.
Your quiz should have at least three questions that:
Are interesting to you.
Show that you understand the subject matter.
Require thoughtful answers, not just a recital of facts.
Such questions often have "explain" or "why" as key words.
Such questions often start by explaining a situation, then asking for a recommendation to solve the situation, with an explanation about why the recommendation is the most appropriate.
These questions should elicit answers that:
Reveal something you found out that interested you about images.
Require you to use the following terms in the answers:
Pixel, lossy compression, color depth, CMYK (Cyan Magenta Yellow Black), RGB (Red Green Blue), bit, JFIF.
Have you compare the relative advantages of JPEG, GIF, BMP and PNG files.
In addition, one of your questions should be a question you don't know the answer to but would like to find out about. You don't answer this question.
If you get information from a specific web site, summarize the information, then cite the source and include a link. Do not cut and paste information from other web sites into your page.
Do not change the theme or background color of your page.
Scoring will be based on the following scale:
4+ Exemplary Response
4 Complete Response
3 Reasonably Complete Response
2 Partial Response
1 Inadequate Response
0 No Attempt
