Good education requires leaps of faith

All students have the right to make informed choices about their own learning. They deserve a learning environment that is innovative, challenging, respectful of the individual and promotes deep thinking. Faith in themselves, and in the process, allows them to risk that first step into the unknown. They must know that they will either find solid footing or learn to fly.  It is our mission as teachers, and learners ourselves, to provide this kind of secure environment.
